The Magic Garden respectfully acknowledges elders past, present, and emerging.
We acknowledge ancient knowledge not only from Kuli Nation but all across both continents: Australia and Abya Yala. Always was, and always will be.

The Magic Garden is a conscious collective deeply rooted in Naarm (Melbourne).
We’re committed to creating a space that breaks the cycle of nightlife culture dominated by alcohol and drugs. Instead, The Magic Garden invites guests into a conscious, substance-free environment where joy, connection, and transformation are fuelled by music, movement, and genuine human presence.
Unlike a typical night out, The Magic Garden offers a safe, inclusive, and deeply nourishing experience. Each gathering is a festival distilled into one unforgettable night — vibrant, soulful, and alive with possibility.
Our Mission
Since our beginnings, The Magic Garden has made more than 1,500 people aware of conscious, substance-free celebration, proving that true connection and euphoria don’t require intoxication. Our gatherings are living examples of how music, movement, and presence can create a natural high. By choosing to celebrate without substances, our community is quietly rewriting what nightlife can be: a place where creativity, self-expression, and authentic human bonds take center stage, and where every beat of the drum reminds us that the highest highs come from within.

At The Magic Garden, we believe that transformation extends beyond the dance floor. Our mission is to create and curate conscious content that reflects the spirit of our community and inspires a deeper connection to self, others, and nature.
Through screenings, short films, and storytelling, we highlight the voices of elders, artists, and facilitators, weaving their wisdom with the emerging culture of sober dance and conscious celebration. Each piece of content becomes a mirror of our values presence, healing, and collective joy.
Our social media curation extends this mission into the digital realm, offering an online sanctuary where the essence of The Magic Garden is shared widely. With authentic stories, creative highlights, and community reflections, our platforms invite people near and far to join this movement of conscious living, dance, and wellbeing.
In every post, every screening, and every shared story, we aim to plant seeds of awareness and connection cultivating a garden that grows both on the ground and online.
One example is our Earth Wisdom documentary with Uncle Wayne Thorpe, where we were honoured to act as producers. This project captures the depth of Aboriginal knowledge, the importance of songlines, and the role of music and ceremony in connecting people to Country. It reflects our dedication to amplifying ancestral wisdom and bridging it with contemporary conscious culture.

This marks the first-ever rave that is entirely sober-friendly. Ecstatic Temple embodies the ethos of conscious clubbing, fostering connections and cultural unity.
